How do I use it?
- Signup to BTb-line here
- Go to a BT Openzone HotSpot. A full list of HotSpots is available here
- Make sure your laptop is WiFi enabled. To check this
click on the windows 'Start' button, select the 'Control Panel'
item and open the 'Network Conections' window.
- Right click on the 'Wireless Network Connection' item to open the 'Properties'
window and click on the 'Wireless Networks' tab.
- To receive a Openzone signal, select the 'BTOpenzone' item in the 'Preferred networks' section and move it to the top the window using the 'Move up' button.
- Click the 'OK' button and you should see a popup window appear in
the bottom right of your screen.
- Open your internet browser and you should be automaticaly redirected to the Openzone login screen shown below.
- Select the 'Roaming Zone' option from the left hand side menu.
- Enter your account number in the username box and your PIN
in the password box. Select 'BT b-line' from the 'Realm' dropdown
list.
- Click 'sign me in' and surf at broadband speeds for only 10p
/ min.
- When you have finished surfing please ensure that you log off from the Openzone website.
